Founded in 2014 by a passionate group of people who believed the answer to poverty isn’t money—it’s community, Now and Not Yet has become a much-loved part of the Warrandyte landscape. But we’re more than just a café. We are a vibrant social enterprise where every coffee poured, every meal shared, and every conversation had helps create meaningful change in our community and beyond.
We serve up delicious, seasonal food, house-made treats, and our signature Social Brew coffee in a warm, welcoming space that feels like home. But what truly sets us apart is what happens beyond the food. Every dollar spent at Now and Not Yet goes directly back into supporting people seeking asylum, those facing homelessness, and others doing it tough. Whether it’s through employment opportunities, housing support, or simply offering a place where everyone is seen, heard, and valued—this is food with purpose.
